Finance Analyst IV

Job Responsibility: Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join our client. Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend Pay Rate: Starting from $38 per hour Location : Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities:

• The role will involve learning the task of the senior analysts within the team via hands on execution of certain tasks and transitioning to the oversight function of the tasks completed by the senior analyst.
• Initially supporting corporate segment with monthly and quarterly reporting including providing guidance on Basel III guidelines, reviewing Wealth Canada reconciliations as well as various related tasks for the consolidated BCAR processes.
• Timely review of inputs, supporting documents and analysis for BCAR regulatory capital as well as quarterly Basel disclosures
• During the term of this STA, the role may shift to assist other desks within the broader Basel Reporting team as various members may need to shift to assist in the capital initiatives project. This would involve both manager oversight tasks as well as hands on completion for other tasks within various areas of the team.
• Involvement in projects and testing as it relates to new regulatory requirements and system updates.
• Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and improve processes and controls.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA/CPA)
• 7+ years financial accounting and reporting experience
• Knowledge of Basel capital frameworks would be an asset
• Highly motivated with strong time management aptitude, analytical skills, and the ability to be flexible
• Must be detail-oriented and able to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines and delivering accurate results
• Proactive with the ability to anticipate issues and recommend solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proven ability to work within and across teams
• Excellent knowledge of financial tools such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FCCS, Excel, Word, Pivot tables as well as the ability to learn new tools when required
