Continuing Care Assistant

This position works directly with residents using a person-centred approach. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with our residents and assist individuals with their day-to-day living.

Job :
* Provide routine tasks that support residents with their daily activities.
* Coordinate health, medical, medication, hygiene, nutrition, and clothing needs of residents.
* Prepare meals, serve residents and assist with feeding
* Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and other daily hygiene needs.
* Assist with resident housekeeping needs, including laundry, bed making, vacuuming, and bed making.
* Maintain administrative records and reports.
* Encourage the development of friendships and family connections and ensure participation.
* Oversee home and property maintenance, ensure it is in good repair, and follow fire, health, and safety standards.
* Ensure adherence to the philosophy and values of Gilead Homes.
* Maintain confidentiality of residents and corporate information.
* Complete other tasks relating to the position.
