Lead Data Scientist - Credit Risk Analytics

Become a Lead Data Scientist focused on Credit Risk Analytics, developing predictive models that enhance unsecured lending strategies. Your analytical expertise will drive informed decision-making. As a senior individual contributor, you are tasked with creating, validating, and maintaining advanced credit risk models. This role demands close collaboration with various teams to incorporate analytical findings into strategic decisions. You'll perform detailed data analyses and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Documentation of model processes will be key to success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of advanced credit risk predictive models
- Conduct extensive data analysis for model enhancement
- Monitor and validate existing models for accuracy
- Work with stakeholders to integrate models into strategies
- Document governance and validation practices for compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative discipline
- 5–7 years of experience in credit risk modeling
- Proficient in statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Skilled in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
