POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Municipal Locate Coordinator, the Control Centre Administrator is the first point of contact for our clients, employees, and business partners. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, coordinating communications, supporting field operations, and providing administrative support that helps keep projects moving efficiently.
Success in this role requires exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to customer, client, and internal inquiries while ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Provide administrative support to the Municipal Locate Coordinator, project managers, and supervisors.
Complete data entry, auditing, and record maintenance with a high level of accuracy.
Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, databases, tracking logs, and other administrative documents.
Verify and update information by comparing source documents and ensuring data integrity.
Monitor employee time entry and assist in tracking approvals to ensure payroll deadlines are met.
Assist with office organization, filing, document management, and general administrative duties.
Coordinate information between field staff, office personnel, and clients to support daily operations.
Maintain confidentiality when handling company, employee, and client information.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and support operational efficiency.
Perform other administrative and office support duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum two (2) years of administrative or office support experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite , including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience using Microsoft Teams and other digital communication tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and support the team.

WORK CONDITIONS
This position is based in Edmonton, Alberta and is an in-office role.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada on a permanent basis or currently possess the required authorization to do so.
