Hatch is seeking motivated  Power Co-op Students with an interest in Energy and Power Systems for 4-month, 8-month or 12-month internships starting in Sep 2026. You will work on a variety of client-driven projects to support all sectors within Power (nuclear, thermal, and eGrid which encompasses renewables, hybrid power, transmission & distribution and grid modernization). This role is based in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities: 

• Solve challenging problems pertaining to energy technologies and power generating systems
• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Actively participate in the creation of the technical reports and presentations to clients
• Assist in the research and development of energy technologies

Education and Experience:

• Preference for 3rd or 4th year Engineering student 
• Strong academic record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes): 

• Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects
• Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Compensation:

Range: $26.00 - $33.00

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
