Quality and Funding Coordinator (Summer Student)

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is currently recruiting for a Summer Student for our Quality and Funding Team, from June to August in Mississauga, ON. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for quality control of administrative processes, securing funding from various regional funding programs. Liaising with various levels throughout the organization regarding funding, quality and administration. Working on various projects relating to funding and quality.

• Communicate effectively with clients, regional referral sources, and funding sources, including all payers (government, third-party, and private insurance), to acquire any missing data required for account set-up and recurring payments.

• Audit patient information on new and recurring applications, including charts, communication notes, and private insurance. Liaise with branch staff to capture missing data and ensure the client's electronic file is accurate and complete. Keep all information confidential to maintain client confidence and protect VitalAire's operations.

• Audit and track applications from various regional funding sources, including all payers such as government, third-party, and private insurance. Secure funding confirmation, authorization, and, when applicable, recurring authorizations from all payers. Update regional funding bodies with changes to client profiles. Process vendor change requests for various provincial government programs. Maintain client confidence and protect VitalAire's operations by keeping all information confidential.

Are you a MATCH?

• 1 - 2 years of general office experience or equivalent combination of experience and education

• Proficient in Google (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Strong data entry skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience dealing with funding authorities and processing necessary funding requirements

• Ability to work independently as well as integrate with all levels of management.
