Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Toronto
Duration: 12 months, renewable
Contract Rate: $60/hr Incorp
Skills/ Experience Required:
- Familiarity with Traceability Matrix and Risk Impact Analysis
- Ability to steer initiative with multiple stakeholders
- Translate business needs into system requirements using BRDs, SRS, FSDs, ensuring they are complete, concise, testable, and audit-compliant
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, data lineage, data quality, and source-to-target mapping for regulatory and AML use cases
- Experience with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, with a track record of leading high-risk, cross-functional, strategic initiatives
- Proficiency in using SharePoint for document collaboration, workflow automation, and stakeholder communication across financial regulatory and AML initiatives
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and facilitating sign-off on deliverables for strategic and compliance-driven projects
- Experience collaborating with SMEs to document information in relatable terms for all levels of ingestion
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
