Site Superintendent – Executive Hotel Whistler
Executive Group Development is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a landmark luxury hotel development in Whistler, British Columbia.
This is a rare opportunity to oversee a high-profile hospitality project in one of North America’s premier resort destinations — working alongside an established ownership and development group known for quality construction, thoughtful design, and long-term excellence. From elevated guest experiences and refined interiors to complex site coordination and premium finishes, this project will require a Superintendent who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and delivering exceptional work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day site operations from pre-construction through completion
- Coordinate and supervise trades, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel
- Maintain project schedules and ensure construction milestones are achieved
- Oversee quality control and ensure all finishes meet company and design standards
- Proactively identify and resolve construction, scheduling, and site challenges
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews
- Work closely with the Project Management and Development teams regarding project updates, deficiencies, changes, and site coordination
- Maintain organized site documentation, reporting, and scheduling updates
- Ensure the project is delivered efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years of Site Superintendent experience in commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, or large-scale residential construction
- Experience overseeing luxury hotel or high-end hospitality projects is considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, building systems, and quality control
- Proven ability to manage trades and maintain accountability on site
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and evolving priorities
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for craftsmanship and finishing quality
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and site management
