PURPOSE

As a Café Server/Barista you will be responsible for greeting and serving guests beverages and/or food in the Café opening as a new outlet within the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. This Team member will brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards while maintaining cleanliness of the outlet throughout the shift. Café Servers/Baristas will also assist guests feel cared for, valued and respected

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service and/or hospitality experience handling cash transactions
• Previous experience working in a similar café-type style atmosphere is an asset
• Knowledge of Point-of-Sales (POS) system preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a high-volume business
• Positive and professional attitude and appearance
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Must be able to lift and carry 10kg. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
