Remote Performance Design Creative Director

Lead Performance Design remotely from Canada at Directive Consulting, combining creative leadership with performance marketing and AI integration.
As Creative Director, you will guide a multidisciplinary department spanning designers, project management, and motion contractors. You will shape creative vision, conversion-focused output, team development, and department strategy. The role balances quality standards, client partnership, financial ownership, and production workflows powered by AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own creative vision and quality standards for Performance Design
- Review creative across paid social, display, video, and landing pages
- Lead, coach, and develop designers and motion contractors
- Manage department P&L, margins, resourcing, and revenue targets
- Lead AI adoption across real production workflows
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in performance marketing creative roles
- Experience managing teams and balancing quality with outcomes
- Experience with P&L, margins, and resourcing decisions
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
