Senior Performance Marketing Specialist

Location: Onsite - Montreal

Valnet is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist to drive growth across our Auto or Gaming portfolio. In this hands-on role, you'll manage paid acquisition campaigns end to end, from launching and optimizing ads to improving conversions and generating qualified leads for products such as travel insurance. 

You'll have the opportunity to test new strategies, identify growth opportunities, and make a direct impact on performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), with exposure to other platforms as needed.
• Own the full marketing funnel, from traffic acquisition and audience targeting to landing pages, lead generation, and conversion optimization.
• Develop and optimize lead generation campaigns for the Travel portfolio, including travel insurance and other travel-related products.
• Monitor campaign budgets and performance metrics, including cost per lead, conversion rates, and return on ad spend, to identify growth opportunities.
• Test and optimize ad copy, creative assets, targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
• Manage conversion tracking and analyze campaign data using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, and spreadsheets to improve attribution and lead quality.
• Collaborate with content, SEO, and development teams to improve landing pages, lead capture forms, and conversion performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth marketing, or digital acquisition.
• Proven experience independently managing the full marketing funnel, from campaign execution to lead generation and conversion optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and ChatGPT; experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) is an asset.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics, including cost per lead, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and return on ad spend.
• Experience with conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, and spreadsheets.
• Experience testing and optimizing ad copy, targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
• Analytical, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of campaign performance.
• Experience in travel, insurance, finance, or other lead generation-focused industries is an asset. Knowledge of SEO and content strategy is a plus.
