Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating commercial painting projects, from small businesses to large-scale commercial properties. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.
- Conducting site visits to assess the scope of work, existing conditions, and any potential challenges.
- Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Preparing comprehensive and detailed estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
- Negotiating and closing contracts while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Painting Contractor Estimator or similar role in the construction or painting industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software/tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
