Job Responsibility: Montreal, QC. Permanent, Full-Time Job Summary: This is an opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who has demonstrated they are able to execute projects, make an impact, and is a true change agent. Under the guidance of the Director Human Resources, the Sr. HR generalist will lead and execute talent acquisition/staffing. HR operation functions, create standard of procedures, and provide counselling of management team. Responsibilities Recruit for open positions in North America and implement pro-active approaches pertaining to employee hiring and selection, and compensation in support of the goals and strategic objectives. Drive the execution of HR-related projects and programs. Well-versed in Employee benefits in Canada and local laws. Introduce SOPs where needed. Ensure that data entry in HRIS is accurate and consistent. Assist HR Director with performance management including annual performance reviews, new hire reviews and PIPs. Assists in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans and addresses corrective action and conflict resolution. Serve as a backup for various general HR activities. Performs other assignments as directed. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-7 years of relevant experience. Fluently Bilingual in French and English, speaking and writing. Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring. Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues and risks. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
