Senior Land Development Civil Designer Markham

Egis Canada is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Designer with expertise in land development. Leverage your Civil3D knowledge and design skills to deliver comprehensive projects with sustainability in mind. This permanent position is ideal for candidates with at least 10 years of experience in consulting relevant to land development and municipal design. You will be part of a team-oriented team that emphasizes thorough assessments and detailed engineering documents. Your role will also involve maintaining excellent client communication and site supervision to ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and draft engineering drawings for various projects
- Create detailed 3D drawings using Civil3D
- Interpret and apply municipal standards to designs
- Modify drawings and enhance presentation materials
- Supervise construction phases in office
Requirements
- Completion of a Civil Engineering Technology diploma
- 10 years of relevant consulting experience
- Proficiency in CADD, specifically AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Excellent oral and written English communication
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
