Platform Technical Lead (e-Transfer, IRIS Framework)
Location: Toronto, ON

Role Description
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for platform development aligned with business goals and user experience.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to platform teams, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, and development.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and product managers.
• Ensure platform architecture is robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing.
• Implement and maintain metrics to monitor platform performance, reliability, and user engagement.
• Lead platform projects from planning through delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver platform solutions.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Must Have
• Hands-on experience with Temenos IRIS Framework.
• Experience deploying APIs.
• Experience with field-level mapping on Payments or AA Products to produce Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs).
• Experience in API performance tuning across integration layers.
• Solid understanding of Temenos integration architecture.
Good to Have
• Canadian Financial Institution (FI) experience.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in platform development, integration, and management, including 2+ years in technical leadership.
• Understanding of Canadian banking and/or payments ecosystem is an asset.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
• Proficiency in Web, Application, and Database platforms.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, API development, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with multi-server environments.
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles.
• Experience with Splunk.
• Strong technical leadership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management skills.
