Toronto Senior Risk Analyst Contract Role

The successful candidate will take on an 8-month contract as a Senior Risk Analyst, supporting projects and performing thorough risk analysis with financial product knowledge. You will collaborate with Investment, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure that risk movements are accurately documented and communicated. Your contributions will help drive improvements in reporting systems and practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily risk analysis focusing on fund-level metrics
- Enhance internal BI reporting and risk analysis tools
- Identify and resolve risk reporting issues and conduct checks
- Collaborate on workflow design and market data requirements
- Carry out UAT testing on enterprise risk system changes
- Minimum 3 years in a risk management role in finance
- Strong knowledge of risk measurement techniques
- Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Relevant Master's degree or CFA/FRM designation advantageous
