HVAC Construction Lead

Rethink Mechanical is looking for a dedicated Construction Lead to join our Commercial Kitchen Hood and equipment Install Team. The ideal candidate will lead various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the HVAC construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects with effective leadership.

Duties

On-site welding; Ductwork Fabrication and Installation; Kitchen hood and components installation;

Supervise and lead your team in operating basic hand and power tools safely
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project lifecycle
Read blueprints/engineered drawings for instructions
Coordinate and direct sub-contractors
Travel with coworkers in company vehicle from Regina to other Saskatchewan locations.
Requirements
8-10 years experience in construction field
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
Prior experience in welding and/or ductwork installation or HVAC related fields.
Basic plumbing, carpentry, mechanical knowledge essential.
Ability to give instructions accurately and efficiently
Good communication skills and reliability
Valid drivers license is required
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
Willingness to work long days. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with extended days off between projects to balance hours worked and work/life quality.
