Rockford Engineering Works Ltd. is a consulting and engineered-to-order equipment manufacturer serving heavy industrial clients across Saskatchewan and beyond. We design, build, commission, and support custom equipment by combining engineering, manufacturing, and field services under one roof.
We are seeking an Operations & Resource Planning Lead to coordinate workload, schedules, and resource utilization across Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning & Procurement, Project Management, and Aftermarket operations. This role ensures work is prioritized, resources are aligned with demand, and potential constraints are identified before they impact execution. Key Responsibilities Maintain visibility of current and future workload.Coordinate schedules and resources across departments.
Identify and address capacity constraints, scheduling conflicts, and execution risks.
Support prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
Maintain schedule accuracy and resource planning data.
Provide workload forecasts and capacity planning insights.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and scheduling.
Maintain document control systems and support reporting activities. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in resource planning, scheduling, operations coordination, or project controls.
Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, heavy industrial, or project-based environment.
Proficiency with ERP, scheduling, project management, and Microsoft Office software.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
PMP, CAPM, or similar designation is an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver's license. What We Offer
