Day/Afternoon/Evening Shifts Available
Able to work an 8-10hr/day rotating shift (this is a 24-hour, 7-day a week operation) Blow Molding Technician will perform the entire changeover process from mold/tooling/head removal, to mold/tooling head installation, changeover of all downstream equipment, material/resin changes, and start-up of the machine in a safe manner. This position is responsible to maintain the quality of the product while meeting the established production goals to ensure on time shipments.
Inspect products for surface defects and flaws
Read specifications to determine setup and prescribed temperature and time settings.
Ensure conformance to specifications
Eliminate production of defective parts and products
Regulate molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time
Proper startup, in-process support and shutdown of all production job
Have your own transportation (not easily transit accessible)
This job has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication and understanding. Your Manager may from time to time ask you to perform other related duties not specifically included in this . Likewise, this will be revised when required to meet current business needs. Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Highly motivated, energetic and team oriented.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Forklift certified an asset
