About Lifemark Keefer Place, located in Vancouver, British Columbia
Our Lifemark Keefer clinic is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Conveniently situated near Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain Station and just steps from International Village and Gastown, our clinic is easily accessible by public transit and surrounded by some of Vancouver's best restaurants, cafés, and shops.
Serving the community for over 20 years, our clinic is home to a large interdisciplinary team of clinicians who provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. We are recognized for our expertise in occupational rehabilitation, mental health services, and concussion care. Our team includes an industry-leading vestibular therapist and specialized concussion clinicians who support these programs. We support a diverse client population through WorkSafeBC , ICBC, LTD, PCVRS, and employer-funded programs.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and contribute to a collaborative care environment focused on helping clients achieve meaningful functional outcomes and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Your impact
Our OTs provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. They also play a pivotal role in supporting veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive, and mental wellness goals. In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to clients
- Apply clinicalexpertiseand professional competence in the assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education, and follow-up of clients
- Perform clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, specializedseatingand positioning assessments
- Identifyappropriate equipmentneeds andinitiaterecommendations
- Consult with local vendorsregardingequipment trials and complete applications/funding letters to the Ministry of Health, insuranceagenciesand other funding parties
- Provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living,wheelchairsand adaptive aides, as well as providing ongoing education to clients and family to improve function,independenceand safety.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention.
- Record assessment findings and treatment interventions in the client's chart
- Excel in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
- Exhibit sound professional judgment

As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, client-centered care across multiple clinics, or specific clinic and community settings. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards,modalitiesand scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education,trainingand experience.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Experience in concussion management is considered an asset.
- Newly licensed graduates are welcome to apply.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are assets.
Other Requirements:
- Clinical experience isavaluable asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics/or return to work.
- Passion for your profession and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management,computerand documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
