Actuarial Associate Role at PartnerRe

PartnerRe Ltd.

Join PartnerRe as a Senior Actuarial Associate, where you will utilize your AXIS modelling expertise in a hybrid work environment focused on life and health reinsurance. This Toronto-based position is ideal for a technically proficient candidate with at least two years' actuarial experience. You will be key in managing AXIS models, improving processes, and collaborating with diverse teams from Operations to Pricing and Valuation. Key Responsibilities:

Create and enhance AXIS valuation models for treaties
Provide guidance and review modeling work from peers
Streamline valuation processes and enhance control measures
Contribute to model validation and audit support
Collaborate on broader team initiatives and projects

Requirements:

2 years of relevant Life & Health actuarial experience
Degree in a related field and ASA/FSA designation
Strong skills in AXIS, Excel, R, and SQL
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills
