Innovative Backend Developer Role

Become a Backend Software Developer and contribute to building modern web applications focused on energy and AI. Located in downtown Vancouver, this role offers hands-on work with TypeScript and NestJS. This position calls for a developer who thrives in an Agile/Scrum environment and is passionate about clean architecture and real-world problem solving. You will utilize your extensive knowledge in RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and microservices, driving impactful projects forward. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable backend applications
- Implement backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
- Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations
- Create efficient data models in PostgreSQL
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
- Proficient in TypeScript and hands-on with NestJS
- Solid grasp of RESTful and GraphQL API standards
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and project tools like Jira
- Strong problem-solving skills and coding competency
