Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon – St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver
Become a Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, where you’ll balance surgical excellence with academic leadership. This role supports a permanent position in a creative healthcare workplace.
As an Academic Orthopaedic Surgeon you will manage complex foot and ankle reconstructions, mentor residents, engage in scholarly activities, navigate the surgical demands of a busy trauma center, and support surgical volume and patient wait time targets.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex surgeries on foot & ankle patients
- Be part of the Orthopaedic On-Call group
- Mentor and teach Orthopaedic surgery residents
- Participate in academic and research programs
- Support surgical volume and patient wait time targets
Qualifications
- Current CPSBC License and CMPA necessary
- FRCSC certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Hold an MD with completed postgraduate training
- Eligible for Faculty of Medicine appointment
- Capability to manage diverse orthopaedic trauma cases
