Product Marketing Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Director based in Canada.
This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and commercial strategy, driving how innovative workforce intelligence solutions are positioned and adopted in the market. You will own the narrative that connects complex product capabilities to clear business value for enterprise buyers. Operating in a high-growth SaaS environment, you will shape go-to-market strategy for key solutions that directly influence revenue, customer acquisition, and expansion. You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring market insights continuously inform product direction and messaging. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role, partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams. It offers the opportunity to define how a category-leading platform is perceived, adopted, and scaled globally.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead end-to-end product marketing strategy for key solutions, ensuring strong alignment between market needs, product value, and commercial outcomes. You will shape positioning, drive launches, and enable sales and marketing teams with impactful messaging that improves performance across the funnel.
- Own go-to-market strategy for key product lines, driving acquisition, expansion, and retention outcomes
- Define and execute differentiated positioning and messaging that clearly communicates business value and competitive advantage
- Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product and marketing direction
- Lead product launches and feature releases, ensuring strong market adoption and measurable pipeline impact
- Develop sales enablement materials, narratives, and tools that improve conversion and accelerate deal cycles
- Partner with marketing teams to design high-performance campaigns aligned with buyer needs and segmentation strategies
- Analyze performance data, win/loss insights, and customer feedback to continuously refine GTM effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across strategy and execution
Requirements
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and storytelling ability, with deep experience in B2B SaaS product marketing. You should be comfortable operating in complex, fast-moving environments and translating technical capabilities into clear business impact.
- 5-7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles
- Proven success driving product-led growth, adoption, or market expansion through strategic marketing initiatives
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives for enterprise audiences
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and messaging skills with executive-level presence
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to revenue outcomes and buyer behavior
- Deep curiosity about customers, markets, and competitive landscapes
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and drive clarity across cross-functional teams
- Bonus: experience in HR tech, workforce analytics, or enterprise data platforms
