About the Junior Accounting Services Analyst Role: In this role you will work in a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to apply your practical knowledge within a diverse financial system that works to support the health system. This position supports eHealth Saskatchewan's financial services team in coding, entering invoices and making supplier payments. As eHealth evolves and grows, this position must be able to broadly support the finance function including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and purchasing. For this well-rounded role, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an eagerness to learn in order to grow our team and support in the development of a new accounting professional.

The successful candidate will be able to review reference materials and identify changes from previous year's procedures, ensure compliance with policies, and prepare/communicate with eHealth management and external stakeholders on year-end processes and deadlines. This position is also responsible for ensuring budget allocation are correct, verifying information provided from other employees regarding expenditures, and communicating any corrections that are required.

What are we looking for?

• University degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institute focused on Finance/Accounting or equivalent related work experience.

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with accounts payable.

• Accounting Certifications would be an asset.

• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of applicable accounting principles and/or procedures.

• Ability to accurately perform complex mathematical calculations.
