Public Management Teaching Assistant
University of Ottawa
Support Introduction to Public Management as an in-person Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus. Work in English during Winter 2027.
This CUPE position supports PAP2320, section A00, within the School of Political Studies and Faculty of Social Sciences. Responsibilities may include teaching assistance, discussion groups, marking papers and exams, and office hours. The assignment totals 60 hours from January 11 through April 30, 2027, with duties negotiated with Professor Mohammad Habibur Rahman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teaching for Introduction to Public Management
- Participate in discussion groups with students
- Mark papers and examinations
- Hold office hours for student meetings
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Availability for in-person work on Main Campus
- Ability to meet supervisor-set deadlines
- Availability to travel to the Ottawa campus
- English language of work
- Completion of mandatory legislated University training
Support public management teaching, student discussions, assessment, and office hours through this 60-hour University of Ottawa assignment.
