Refined Product Marketer

Job Responsibility:

Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. is a publicly listed, diversified energy infrastructure company with an integrated value chain across the North American natural gasoline, natural gasoline liquids and crude oil, refined product, and renewable space. Tidewater plans to achieve its business objective by providing customers with a full service, vertically integrated value chain, including gasoline plants, pipelines, railcars, export terminals, storage, downstream facilities, and various renewable initiatives.

Tidewater has an immediate opening for a Refined Product Marketer. This is a full-time position reporting into our Calgary Head Office . Preferred location is Prince George but open to discussions on Alberta and British Columbia. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

As a Refined Product Marketer at Tidewater Midstream & Infrastructure Ltd. you will play a key role in driving diesel and gasoline sales directly to customers from both our Prince George Refinery and our Prince George Hydrogen Renewable Diesel Facility. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our diesel and gasoline products and expand our customer base. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a reputable oil and gasoline company while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customers in the refined products industry in Western Canada.
• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase diesel and gasoline sales, with a focus on targeting businesses and industries in Western Canada, with a focus in British Columbia.
• Identify and engage potential clients, build strong relationships, and establish a robust customer base for refined fuel products.
• Devise and implement promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and incentives to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to position our refined products effectively in the market.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of refined fuel products.
• Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product positioning with overall company goals.
• Identify key customer segments and tailor marketing strategies to address their specific needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create compelling and informative content for various channels, including websites, social media, and industry publications.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize future initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 5-10 years proven experience in refined product marketing.
• Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.

Competencies:

• Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with a willingness to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of the fuel industry and related regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive compensation package including an attractive base salary, short term and long-term incentive plans.

Comp Range: $110,000 to $140,000 base pay
