Vous aimez savoir que votre travail aide directement votre équipe? En tant qu'opérateur·trice de transmissions, vous serez chargé·e de relier les membres des Forces armées canadiennes (FAC) au moyen de systèmes de communication dans une variété de lieux et de scénarios.
Ce poste est offert à temps plein ou à temps partiel.

Aperçu
Ils sont des spécialistes de l'installation, du démontage, du dépannage et de l'utilisation de systèmes d'information et de communication de pointe, notamment :
Systèmes d'information et de communication avec ou sans fil
Systèmes radio, satellites ou à micro-ondes à large bande
Technologies à fibres optiques et à fil de cuivre à large bande
Systèmes de traitement de la voix et de données.

Opérateur·trice et gestionnaire des télécommunications
Analyste des systèmes d'information
Technicien·ne - réparateur installateur de lignes
Technicien·ne - technologue en génie électronique
Pour pouvoir vous enrôler dans les FAC, vous devez :
posséder la citoyenneté canadienne ou être résident permanent vivant au Canada;
avoir au moins 18 ans (17 ans avec le consentement parental) sauf pour :
les programmes d'études subventionnées – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents);
la Première réserve – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents) et être aux études à temps plein;
avoir terminé sa 10 année ou son 4 secondaire au Québec (certains postes demandent un niveau d'éducation plus élevé).
Études requises
Ce poste exige que les candidat·e·s aient terminé au minimum leur 10 année ou leur 4 secondaire au Québec, conformément aux normes provinciales, notamment :
Mathématiques appliquées de 10 année (Mathématiques 416 ou CST 4)
Il est possible que les études faites à l'étranger soient reconnues.
Programme d'enrôlement direct
Aucune expérience professionnelle préalable ni aucune compétence liée à la carrière ne sont requises. Un recruteur peut vous aider à déterminer si vos intérêts personnels et vos qualités correspondent aux critères de cette profession. Si vous détenez déjà un diplôme universitaire ou collégial, les FAC détermineront si votre programme d'études correspond aux critères du poste et, une fois l'instruction de base réussie, peuvent vous placer directement dans le programme de formation en cours d'emploi adapté. L'instruction de base est requise avant toute affectation.
