Associate Lawyer for Wills & Estates

Join the Cox & Palmer team in Halifax as an Associate Lawyer focusing on Wills & Estates, providing critical legal support in estate planning and probate matters to our diverse clientele. As a key member of our Wills & Estates practice, you will engage directly with clients on a full range of tasks, from drafting wills to navigating complex estate litigation. Our firm prioritizes a collaborative and inclusive culture, empowering you with resources, training, and mentorship to thrive professionally while making a significant impact on clients’ lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on estate planning and legal documentation
- Assist clients with probate and estate administration
- Maintain clear communication with clients and team members
- Oversee the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned
- At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
- Compassionate approach to client needs
- Strong writing, analytical, and research skills
- Proven track record in client service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
