Lead corporate development and M&A initiatives with CGL in a hybrid role. Drive financial modeling and investment management while executing key transactions throughout Canada. CGL is looking for an AVP of Corporate Development who will oversee M&A strategies and manage the Corporate Venture Fund. This role requires extensive experience in corporate finance and financial services, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will be instrumental in guiding high-stakes negotiations and performing in-depth financial analyses. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead M&A negotiations to protect corporate interests
• Conduct financial modeling and risk assessments
• Prepare executive presentations for the Board of Directors
• Research and analyze potential acquisition targets
• Report on the Corporate Venture Fund's performance Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
• Over 10 years of corporate development experience
• Expertise in mergers and acquisitions
• Strong Excel financial modeling capabilities
• French language proficiency is beneficial Elevate CGL's corporate strategies through expert negotiation and financial acumen.
