Valley Regional Patient Flow Operations Leader

Become the Patient Flow Operations Leader at Valley Regional Hospital, located in the Western Zone. This part-time role is key in overseeing patient care services and nursing administration. In this permanent position, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all patient care services are effectively coordinated. Supervising nursing staff and ensuring adequate staffing based on patient census are crucial aspects of this role. Your collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals will enhance care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nursing administration and patient care coordination
- Ensure adequate staffing and manage patient census
- Supervise nursing professionals and activities
- Work with healthcare teams to improve patient experiences
- Exhibit professional judgment in care strategies
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing mandatory
- Registered or eligible with Nova Scotia Nursing College
- At least three years in medical/surgical settings and two years in management
- BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
