• Sodexo is growing! We are looking for Cooks to join our dynamic team. These position are full-time position. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance, great benefits and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role (high volume establishment preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience working as part of a team
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
• Prepares and cooks to order foods that may require short preparation time. May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and may operate a grill station and pantry station
• Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food required by patron, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions. 
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times. 
• Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments.
• Prepares foods under direct supervision or instruction by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use. 
• Tastes products, reads menus, estimates food requirements, checks production, and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment. 
• May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all Sodexo, client and regulatory rules and procedures. 
• May receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets.
• May produce some batch goods using basic cooking techniques. ▪ Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated. ▪ Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
• Monday - Friday only, Might require to work night

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Teamwork Spirit 
• Passion for maintaining a healthy and safe environment (HACCP and OHS standards).
• Support the Chef in the execution of daily activities.
• Excellent food service offering for the clients and guests of this site. You will be asked to prepare general food production, cooking, serving as well as other assigned tasks.
• Experience in cooking
• Excellent customer service
• Strong planning, organizational and time management and computer skills.
