About the Role: We are looking for a fast, organized, and high-energy Bartender to join our team! Our venue hosts live music events and heavy weekend crowds (100+ guests), where high-volume beer sales and rapid drink preparation are the main focus. You will be pouring high volumes of draught and bottled beer while crafting classic pub cocktails with speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Speed Execution: Maintain fast, accurate pour times for high-volume beer orders, draught taps, and highballs during peak rushes.
Cocktail Service: Prepare classic cocktails using proper specs and techniques with confidence and speed.
Bar Organization: Keep your well, speed rails, and ice bins clean and organized throughout the entire shift ("clean as you go").
Glass Washer & Hygiene: Maintain glass-washer operations, inspect glassware for pristine quality ( zero lipstick marks ), cap draught spouts, and burn ice wells at close.
Stock & Inventory: Monitor keg levels, restock fridges, report low stock, and log 86’d items for the team.
Guest & Team Connection: Deliver friendly, efficient service to bar guests and regulars while supporting floor servers seamlessly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Smart Serve certification mandatory.
Proven experience working behind a high-volume bar or pub setting.
Strong working knowledge of beer styles, draught systems, and foundational cocktail recipes.
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and maintain physical stamina for busy weekend night shifts.
Strict commitment to cleanliness, bar opening/closing protocols, and teamwork.
