Lead Systems Administrator at OnX

Take the lead as a Senior Systems Administrator at OnX, a premier tech solutions provider in Canada. This position emphasizes hands-on technical skills in managing Windows, Linux, and cloud infrastructures. You will be pivotal in ensuring the performance and security of mission-critical server environments. In this role, you will perform OS installations, lifecycle management, and capacity planning while guiding junior staff. Your expert oversight will enhance operational efficiency across enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Windows and Linux server infrastructures
- Monitor and optimize system performance daily
- Lead upgrades, patching, and configuration tasks
- Collaborate with application and networking teams
- Automate processes for improved operational workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- Minimum 6 years of IT experience, 5 in systems administration
- Strong skills in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
