- Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), production planning and capacity planning activities to align customer demand, project execution and manufacturing capabilities with business objectives.
- Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and employee development.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, fostering an inclusive, people-centered culture that promotes engagement, performance and collaboration.
- Drive operational and financial performance through disciplined execution, workforce planning, productivity initiatives, inventory optimization and effective resource management.
- Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of complex low-voltage power distribution, Motor Control Center (MCC) and switchboard projects.
- Represent the facility with customers, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring successful execution of business priorities, strategic initiatives and growth objectives.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational performance, profitability, customer experience and the long-term competitiveness of the Edmonton manufacturing operation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Significant progressive manufacturing leadership experience within complex industrial environments.
- Experience leading large manufacturing operations through multiple levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated success driving operational performance, business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including responsibility for budgets, workforce planning, productivity and profitability.
- Experience operating in environments where safety, quality and delivery performance are critical to business success.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, production planning and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence across functions and lead teams through growth and change.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Experience within power systems, electrical equipment, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing, industrial equipment, aerospace, automotive or other complex industrial manufacturing environments will be considered an asset.
