Engineering Manager for Marketing Privacy

Lead engineering in Marketing & Privacy at Affirm, focusing on building trusted consumer experiences. This remote position requires expertise managing engineers and thriving in collaborative environments. As Engineering Manager for Marketing & Privacy Engineering, you will guide two essential pillars—Marketing and Consumer Privacy. With a focus on privacy-aware consumer web experiences, this role demands strong engineering leadership and operational excellence. You will partner with Product Managers to ensure alignment on roadmaps while fostering innovative, scalable solutions for our platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support engineers in both Marketing and Privacy pillars
Establish a unified operational model for the MPE team
Collaborate with Product and technical leads on engineering plans
Guide execution across web integration and privacy experiences
Build strong partnerships across various engineering and business teams

Requirements:

Proven experience managing software engineering teams
Strong foundation in software engineering principles
Ability to translate business priorities into technical solutions
Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
Familiarity with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA
