Wait Staff - Server

Our client is seeking a Wait Staff - Server to join their team. As a Wait Staff - Server, you will be part of the service team supporting special event operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-first mindset, clear communication skills, and a commitment to food safety—skills that will help you deliver a memorable guest experience during a regional celebration.

Job Title: Wait Staff - Server

Location: KINGSTON, ON

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 7, Shift Start Time: 07:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Serve guests during a special event by providing friendly, attentive, and timely service.
• Support an excellent customer experience by communicating clearly with guests and the event team.
• Follow food safety principles and procedures to help maintain a clean, safe service environment.
• Assist with event service needs as required, including setup and ongoing support during service.
• Be prepared for physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience as a server or in a food service role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, guest-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification and availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
