Our newest focus is on building our online brand. Using digital channels like social media, email and our ever-changing website, we’re working to attract a new generation of Brick shoppers. At The Brick, we build our creative in house. Website, email, social media, digital flyer; these are all different tactics our digital team handles. To keep up with production demands, we’re growing our marketing team. This position is a great opportunity to become exposed to all aspects of digital marketing with a top Canadian retailer. You need to have an enthusiasm for design. Whether it’s creating the next eye-catching email, a crafty social post, or building promotional banners for the website, we succeed by grabbing the attention of our customers. Responsibilities

Website Design:

Design and develop promotional banners, website layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces (UI). User Experience (UX):

Ensure websites are optimized for usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Graphic Design:

Create visually appealing graphics, icons, branding assets, and marketing materials. Brand Consistency:

Ensure all web pages and assets adhere strictly to company brand guidelines. Collaboration:

Work closely with developers, marketers, and stakeholders to execute the visual elements of our digital properties. Quality Assurance:

Test designs for functionality, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness. Time Management:

Effective time management and attention to detail is critical. Resourcefulness:

Gathering required information from the digital team, purchasing group, vendors and management. Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 2-years of proven experience in web design, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Design Tools:

Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or the Adobe Creative Suite. Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design best practices. (Optional: Basic JavaScript or CMS experience like WordPress/Shopify). Aesthetic Eye:

Excellent visual design skills with a keen focus on typography, color theory, and layout. Communication:

Ability to articulate design decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Why The Brick?
