We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the growing team at Elite Travel Management.

Your desire to go above and beyond will drive your success in this role. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and contributing to new initiatives to help streamline our accounting and finance operations.

More importantly, the successful candidate will play a part in Business Central (our new ERP system), virtual credit card technology, and the ever evolving industry of corporate travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage Elite Travel’s virtual payments program


• 
  Reconcile incoming and outgoing transfers


• 
  Create and deliver weekly client reports


• 
  Day to day involvement with Microsoft Business Central


• 
  Assist with client reports and reconciliation


• 
  Complete various ad hoc tasks


• 
  Respond to accounting and reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders


• 
  Provide additional support and complete ad hoc tasks and initiatives as requires

Key Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field required


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and Pivot Tables


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced, start-up environment


• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships

Education and Additional Considerations  

• 
  Post-Secondary education in accounting or finance


• 
  Experience in the travel industry is an asset, though not required
