We are working with a client to find a Controller to oversee their business in the USA and Canada, working remotely from Vancouver or LA.

We are working with a client to find a Controller to oversee their business in the USA and Canada, working remotely from Vancouver or LA.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, payments, and reconciliations
- Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate with external CPA partners on reporting, compliance, and year-end processes
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
- Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability
- 5+ years of accounting or financial operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPA designation is an asset
- Strong QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software skills
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
