Helper/Nanny - 9 years old boy with cerebral palsy in Beaconsfield

Nanny/Helper in Beaconsfield (Montreal West Island) Start date: August 26, 2026 24 hours per week Mon-Thu afternoons (12:30 to 6:30pm) To help the mom take care of a 9 year old boy with quad cerebral palsy. He's is a smart, funny and charming boy who loves Lego, books, arts and crafts, board games and all sorts of vehicles. He uses a wheelchair to move around and is very talkative with a great sense of humor :) We also have a 11 year old boy, who is independent, but will be around since he loves to play with his brother. Tasks include: Spoon feeding Playing with the kids, indoors and outdoors Personal hygiene Transferring to/from bed and wheelchair Helping with simple exercises or routines as instructed by his therapists Light household tasks (loading/unloading dishwasher, folding laundry, cutting veggies, preparing snacks and tidying up toys and books Fluent English is a must. We have a cat, but you are not expected to take care of her. Experience with kids with physical handicap is a plus, but not required. The person will receive training and will gradually take over all the listed tasks as she/he gets familiar with them. Salary is 21.58$/hour. This is a declared position. Payments will be made by the CLSC through the “Allocation autonomie à domicile” program (previously known as “ Cheque-Emploi Service”). (Part-Time, Live-Out) For day (nanny-attendant)
