Senior Business Systems Analyst

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Job Description

The project involves managing updates to the Messaging Back Office (MBO) application with a focus on Azure migration. The role requires strong technical knowledge in Azure and Angular to support this migration effort.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical/functional specifications.
• Develop effective solutions by analyzing current system capabilities and defining technology solutions.
• Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed user stories.
• Support testing teams by translating requirements into test conditions and results.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and activities, including standups and story refinements.
• Collaborate with pod members and stakeholders to determine solutions and assess impacts.
• Ensure best practices related to the BSA discipline are adhered to within project processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 7 years of BSA experience
• 5 years of delivery experience
• 5 years of Agile experience
• 5 years of experience with Jira/Confluence
• 3 years of recent experience with API calls, Angular, Java, Azure

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in banking
• Knowledge of Behavior Driven Design (BDD)
• Experience with quality management reviews
• Experience in coaching and guiding team members
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Assignment Length

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Assignment Location

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite, moving to 4 days a week in the office as of February 17.
