Business Systems Analyst <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span>(6 month contract to start - Remote Work/Downtown Toronto)<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/b><\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Work with the Technical Team and
  business to determine requirements and transform them into System
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> specifications <\/span><\/span><\/span> . <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with our Process Excellence
  Team to understand business process mapping for as -is and to -be processes. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with our Process Excellence
  Team to specify changes to existing business processes and/or create new
  business processes to meet specific customer requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Communicating with stakeholders
  of varying technical ability and subject matter expertise. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with the project team and
  business stakeholders to translate between business and technical requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Facilitate process workshops to
  gather business and functional requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Support business cases and
  project proposals development. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Follow up with action items from
  meetings or risk/issue registers. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with our QA and Testing
  team to create, execute and review Test Plans and Test Scenarios. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with our QA and Testing
  team to validate Test Results and analyze defects. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work with our L&D team to
  prepare and organize reviews and training sessions. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to analyze, research,
  organize and prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Coach new or less experienced
  colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  Requirements <\/h3>

  • Business Systems Analyst must have minimum 5 years’
    experience as a Business Systems Analyst within the IT industry. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • College or University
    Degree or equivalent practical experience. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • The Business Systems Analyst must possess excellent written and verbal
    communication in English, and be able to <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span> clearly communicate
    with business and technical stakeholders. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent problem -solving and
    analytical abilities. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with Visio,
    PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Business System Analyst should ideally have experience with Agile methodology. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Demonstrated ability to support
    multiple projects concurrently, balancing deliverables and ability to
    prioritize deliverables across projects. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> problem -solving <\/span><\/span><\/span> skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to resolve crisis situations
    with clients. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong interpersonal, and
    business presentation skills. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Comfortable in front of a
    technical or managerial audience. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • D365 experience. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with back office
      systems used for accounts receivables and general ledger (Sage). <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with solutions used
      in the financial advisory and tax service business. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Managing project using DevOps. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Service Now experience. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Product Owner or Scrum Master
      experience. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
