Medical Director Emerging Assets & Therapeutic Area Strategy

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Medical Director to lead medical and scientific strategy for emerging assets and cross-therapeutic area initiatives within Innovative Medicine Canada. The role combines portfolio strategy, medical readiness planning, and team leadership across multiple disease areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical and scientific leadership for emerging assets and therapeutic area strategy team
- Develop and execute national medical education and field medical strategy in alignment with stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on portfolio strategy and therapeutic area capabilities
- Oversee launch readiness processes, pre-launch activities, and data generation planning
- Lead, develop, and manage team including Associate Medical Directors, Scientific Advisors, and Medical Science Liaisons
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with clinical or medical affairs experience
- Leadership experience managing medical and scientific teams
- Strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration across therapeutic areas
- Knowledge of clinical development, regulatory processes, and launch readiness
- Strong stakeholder engagement and external relationship management skills
- Experience with scientific advisory boards and investigator-initiated studies
