Job Title: Senior Design Manager - Workplace & Spatial Strategy
Location: Edmonton, AB
Duration: 1 Year Contract (Hybrid)

As a consultative partner within our elite real estate and facilities division, you will lead the strategic execution of innovative design solutions that transform business objectives into high-visibility, award-winning environments. By steering high-performing external design teams, you will directly shape the future of modern workplace optimization and client-facing experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design strategy for a diverse portfolio of corporate and retail construction projects to ensure seamless, functional, and visually consistent environments aligned with organizational health and business goals.
- Optimize multi-million dollar capital expenditure frameworks and value engineering initiatives to deliver cost-effective spatial designs without compromising aesthetic integrity or financial targets.
- Formulate comprehensive spatial programming, space planning metrics, and construction documentation to establish seamless integration across physical spatial layouts, technological infrastructure, and compliance controls.
- Cultivate high-value stakeholder partnerships and vendor relationships to streamline project delivery pipelines, mitigate operational risk, and champion universal brand standards across a multi-million square foot portfolio.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience guiding complex corporate, commercial, or retail design management projects from initial concept through final contract administration.
- Advanced technical mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software packages alongside integrated workplace management tools to oversee precise blueprint execution.
- Proven track record of establishing continuous improvement initiatives, performance KPIs, and proactive risk mitigation strategies within active corporate and public-facing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, combined with executive-level stakeholder communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution expertise.
