The Don Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the Don Mills community for over 35 years. We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills. We pride ourselves in providing the personal and professional care that you should expect from a veterinary hospital.
As pet owners ourselves we understand the importance and value of our companions in our daily life. Our team offers a warm, respectful, compassionate and loving environment to all our clients and their pets. We offer a wide range of services including, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, the existence of nutritional and behavioural services.
Is This Role Right For You?
Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure.
