Product Development Manager for Coffee
Restaurant Brands International
Lead coffee innovation with Restaurant Brands International in your role as a Product Development Manager for roasted beans and ground coffee. Focus on commercialization and quality objectives across North America and beyond. This position entails overseeing the development and commercialization of coffee products while reporting to the Director, Roasted Coffee R&D. You will partner with various teams to ensure products meet quality and sensory standards throughout the entire production process, providing valuable industry insights and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage development of roasted whole bean and ground coffee
- Collaborate with vendors to meet production goals
- Conduct vendor capability assessments for Tim Hortons network
- Develop processing specifications for roasting and grinding
- Troubleshoot production challenges using sensory evaluations
- Bachelor's in Food Science or related field
- Experience in R&G coffee manufacturing
- Hands-on roasting experience with commercial roasters
- Familiarity with HACCP and GMP regulations
- Strong analytical and project management skills
