Senior Construction Estimator - General Contractor - ICI New Build Projects

Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ICI GC/CM ground-up new build projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather accurate project data.
• Develop and maintain cost databases and ensure estimates are aligned with industry standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to stakeholders.
• Monitor and update project budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Support the construction team during the project lifecycle with cost-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Construction Estimator should have:

• Proven experience in ICI GC/CM estimating for ground-up new build projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
• A commitment to accuracy and detail in all aspects of project estimation.
• A relevant educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
