Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for ICI GC/CM ground-up new build projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather accurate project data.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and ensure estimates are aligned with industry standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to stakeholders.
- Monitor and update project budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Support the construction team during the project lifecycle with cost-related matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Construction Estimator should have:
- Proven experience in ICI GC/CM estimating for ground-up new build projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
- A commitment to accuracy and detail in all aspects of project estimation.
- A relevant educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
