Front Desk Medical Receptionist

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and clients, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our dental or medical office, where professionalism and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for providers.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
• Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification when required.
• Ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with other administrative staff to support office operations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and team members.
• Proficient in front desk operations, including scheduling software and general office equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
