Legal Manager for SaaS Growth

Elevate your legal career as a proactive Legal Manager with Sidetrade, focusing on SaaS operations across North America and Europe. Drive commercial growth while managing privacy and AI compliance. As Legal Manager, you’ll join the dynamic Sidetrade Legal Team, critical in ensuring commercial success while addressing contractual risks and supporting legal automation. Your role demands expertise in commercial law, negotiation, and familiarity with privacy regulations like CCPA and PIPEDA. The position offers a blend of independence and collaboration in an international setting fostering innovative legal solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate SaaS and commercial agreements
• Support multi-regional Sales and Account Managers
• Develop contract templates and negotiation strategies
• Advise on balancing risk and commercial goals
• Ensure compliance with AI regulations and privacy frameworks Requirements:
• Law degree and ability to practice in Canada
• 5–7+ years in commercial law within SaaS
• Strong experience negotiating B2B contracts
• Knowledge of CCPA and AI regulations
• Fluent English; French preferred Drive legal modernization and compliance at Sidetrade, contributing to our innovative SaaS solutions.
